CyanogenMod

Heart
Good morning fellow members!

First of all I want to say that I'm not linux developer of some sort.

But I am interested in getting CyanogenMod to the Pine A64.

I found the following page which suggests it can be done:
http://linux-sunxi.org/CyanogenMod

I read that there will be Android 6 support? So that means CyanogenMod 13?

What do you guys think?

Yes, we love to collaborate and support.

I try to contact him but don't have sufficient privileges at XDA. If somebody can help up and ask him to contact me, lets work together and benefit the Pine64 community.

I've tried to send him a private message, but he's blocking private messages from members with less than 10 posts...
Public posts are also not possible with less than 10 posts in other categories.

Really strange...
I've got now +10 posts in XDA forum, but I'm still not able to send him a private message.
I hope he'll read my email.

That was my email:

Quote:Hi sykopompos!

First of all - I'm not a team member of Pine64.
I'm just a backer of a Pine64 board.

One of the team members, tllim, is very interested in you, because of your public interest on Pine64 board.
Please take a look at the following topic on Pine64 forum:
http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?t...46#pid1246

Best regards
Julian

I just woke up so give me a bit to really respond in-depth.
The pine64 definitely does sound interesting to tinker with, if there is full kernel source and documentation on each of the parts, it is possible to port cm13 or really any Android source to it.
I'm not too familiar with cm13 these days though because I am on multiple competing projects though.

The available Linux kernel source code for Android is at http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/Pine_A6...re_Release (kernel version: 3.10).

The package "Allwinner A64 Linux 3.10 BSP" should contain whatever is required to compile and build the Android image "Pine A64 Android Lollipop Image Rev 20151210".
