No boot...power light shows green

My 4GB Model A came in today and I've got no boot activity. Tried with BAT jumper on and off, with and without sdcard in place. Possible DOA or is there a trick to this?

Solved. Silly me was trying to be too hopeful and had loaded ubuntu server onto the sd card. Had to use Manjaro.

Interesting, I have a Quartz64 board that recently decided to quick working and all I get is a power led. What other symptoms did you see? Was there and activity as it tried to boot and did the usb get powered?
