Heats Up to glowing iron

Bug
Hi,

I just received my Pinecil and wanted to check its features. When I plug it in, even if set at reasonable temperatures below 200 °C, the tip starts glowing after a few seconds...

Is this a known problem?

Seems to be a broken temperature measurement (defunct temperature converter on the board itself?). Measured temperature on the display never exceeds 40 °C even when a water drop on the tip starts boiling (tested for additional soldering tips, all show same behaviour).

Same problem, first use, with 65W pinepower or another QC charger, tip goes almost beyond red hot to the point I'm afraid it's going to melt. Hoping this is a software problem
