USB-C CC pins are pulled to the GND by AW3512 (VCONN switches) when VCONN is off

I desoldered the switches. However, USB devices are still not recognized. I tried a USB keyboard and USB smartcard reader, connected directly and connected through a powered hub. The devices don’t show up when running lsusb on SXMO / PostmarketOS. Furthermore, the status LED of the smartcard reader does not turn on. So there is no power. Charging the phone fortunately still works. My PinePhone is from an early batch, got it from a friend.

Any idea what I can do?

It would be nice if I can get the smartcard reader to work. Other devices are not that important.

Got it to work! Although, lsusb still reports nothing, I can now use the powered hub, the smartcard reader (with gpg), and the USB keyboard.

Steps under PostmarketOS / SXMO:

1. Flashed the ANX firmware using method 1.
   
2. Just to make sure everything is properly reinitialized, I shut down the phone, took out the battery, put it back in, and started the phone again.
