Earpiece emits static

For reference, I am using a Braveheart with Mobian

Does anyone else suffer from the earpiece emitting static (at full volume?)

Curious if this is caused by the hardware, software, or potential water ingress.

Mine don't produce any static at full volume, while not playing. It does not make any difference if the PP is charging or not. Braveheart CE . Mobian updated.
It could be I am getting deaf. : )

Thanks either way. Last night I saw a wishlist item for Mobian: 'Fix hiss/whine noise present whenever audio hardware is activated'

So it's probably related to that. The static seemingly doesn't emit all of the time.

Yes, I mixed up the two versions. : )
hw revision 1.2 "community edition"
I heard the hissing sound while making calls on UBPorts. It was only when the audio was started.
But it happened at every audio level.

Understood, I experience something similar.

I'll mark the topic as Solved, as this issue doesn't appear to be as destructive as first thought.
