Is it safe to switch the kill switches on / off with the phone on?
Or should I shut down, then flip the switch. I stuck my battery in with some double sided tape, Im reasonably confident it wont detach while removing the cover.

I always remove the battery.
To change the memory card many times a day.
It never felt down while removing the cover.

Electrically it looks like it should be ok. Software wise I don't know - it may cause confusion.
