Bliss OS for Pinebook

It is actually fully implemented as much as this solution is going to be. I will have to make a setup video showing how to make Taskbar the default launcher on initial setup, cause otherwise, you're only going to get the stock behavior from the Taskbar app. If it is a more Windows like UI you are looking for, it likely won't happen on Bliss anytime soon. We like to stick close to AOSP with extras, so all AOSP based tweaks, Substratum themes, app & features work right out of the box across the board.

Is it possible to install it (on eMMC) simply like this:
1. Boot Linux from sdcard
2. sudo dd status=progress bs=512 if=/dev/mmcblk1 | gzip > /media/pine64/Elements/Bliss-pine64_pinebook_20170830_01.img.gz

I like it the way it is, just wanted to have the taskbar visible always, even when I have the fullscreen mode application. It would be perfect just to have that taskbar instead of those Android buttons at all times, because the taskbar contains all the buttons too.

You can do that, I think you need to play with a few of the options in Taskbar's General settings and Appearance I think too. Then in Blissify settings, disable the navbar in Buttons settings. Taskbar will then be the default, at all times, but only downfall is windows will fullscreen behind it

OpenVPN still doesn't work, same thing like on Android 7.1. So far don't see any benefits with Bliss compared to normal Android. Draging or resizing of windows is not user friendly and all very slow and not optimized for Pinebook.

Hi, I used it a while and there are my issues for this.

1. DPI change (fixed)
2. I had test HDMI output, and it seems works, but sometimes blinks.
3. There is no maximized app to window only, all you can do is click home button.
4. The font in Chrome is blur, even maximized it or in small window.

2. HDMI Mirror is ok, but no sound.
   4. Use Firefox and change layout.css.devPixelsPerPx = 1 can fix this issue.
   5. I installed Google Cloud Print, Let's Print Droid/PDF, and want to print to this service to get pdf files, always got crash "Unfortunatelly The Printer Spooler Crash"

Hello all We pushed an updated build to our download server today. Updates include widevine (working Netflix now), smaller screen elements (DPI=120) and a couple other things I adjusted over the last couple weeks. Pine64 build isn't too far behind. ENJOY!!
