Do you have a 2GB board?

It's not about network environment, it's about environemtal conditions like supplied voltage. Are you guys able to measure voltage between PHY_VDD33 and GND? Then most probably the reason that Ethernet did not work in Android and RemixOS back then was due to a bug only affecting 2 GB boards (a so called integer overflow) that has been fixed by longsleep pretty fast but unfortunately it took weeks/months until fixed Android/RemixOS images were available. Also called 'Pine64+ Ethernet issue N°2': http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic...s/?p=15246

Thank you for that information.  Thought some miracle happened.  Now that my Ethernet is working, I have been playing with Ayufan's Android 7, and it is awesome.  Of course I have been struggling all day with gparted running on my Windows 7.  After I resize the partition, it goes into a boot loop and will not load Android.  I finally just loaded Ubuntu onto my Pine and ran gparted from there.  Waiting to see if it goes into boot loop again........ grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Your Ethernet is not really working, it's just that by disabling the Gigabit Ethernet PHY the symptoms disappear (and your network speed is crippled but it seems you're ok with that).

Regarding Android: Please keep in mind that you need an SD card showing superiour random IO performance. Based on community research Samsung EVO with 32 or 64 GB can be considered best buy currently: http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic...rformance/

Yes, he does have a lot of knowledge !  ... and he also has an enormous ego, a chip on his shoulder, and an attitude. He's a harsh person, and often disrespectful. His knowledge is fantastic-- the rest not so much.

At any rate, he knows what is expected and its up to him to play nice, or not at all.

Yes, Mark. You're the standard by which we should all be judged. How does everyone not see that?

As a moderator, Mark, you should be above any personal attacks. I think perhaps you need to give yourself a warning here, possibly a time out.

Think about it.
