Weird design strategy ... Being an engineer myself, I would have common design for both version with single PCB version ...

I also wish can have both design in same PCB. However, the DRAM layout need to be optimized especially on 2GB board. The 1GB using x16 DDR3 and 2GB need to use x8 DDR3.

If I write  email to support, they can send the scheme or name the approximate dates announcement?

This is a long overdue task that we need to complete. I will bump up this task priority and release.

Just a FYI, TL Lim indicated in a IRC chat the other night that he would trying to get the schematic for the 2GB board up shortly, so stay tuned... it hasn't been forgotten!
