I had the screen flickering instead of booting problem.
The update was probably done a couple of days ago, max 15.
I booted the Pine Note on a plane to see it has become a paperweight And arrived at the destination without reading.
 And arrived at the destination without reading.
What worked for me:
1. Creating a HotSpot with the same name as home network
2. SSH-ing into pinenote
3.
This was _not_ downloaded.
Some debugging for the wise, what didn't work:
