SOQuartz NPU

I've been wondering about the Neural Processing Unit on the SOQuartz, but can't seem to find any documentation about it from a quick look. What can it do, and what software is available that supports it?

Well, I did get a response to this question when I asked it on Discord, so posting the link here so I don't lose it, and in case it might help others. Still have to make sense of what the documentation says though.
