USB Wall Plug and Power over Ethernet not working
#11
just as with the raspberry pi , it depends on what you plan to do with the pine64 board (or boards) when determining what power supply to use. if you plan to use the board as a single unit then many 2.5amp power supplies will probably supply enough current. if you plan on adding the POT expansion with several modules/sensors, and/or the development expansion board with additional power requirements then 2.5amp most likely will not perform well. so my suggestion is to think about what you want to do and buy accordingly. also, keep in mind that adapter plugs/cables that will change from usb to pole barrel plug and even Y-cable to allow multiple boards off one power supply are available.
