In another test sequence, I called PPP every 15 minutes after removing from wall charger. After 1 hr and 15 minutes it stopped answering. Phone went to sleep and needed a cold reboot (seeing red and blue lights) to reactivate. Phone was down to 57% battery after 1 1/4 hrs.
Next, I will recharge the phone. Then disconnect from charger as if going out. I won't call every 15 minutes but I will wait 1 hour to see if it picks up a call. I think calling every 15 minutes possibly reset the shutdown timer each call. I will try it without the frequent calls.
Maybe you need someone to call you every 15 minutes if you go out.
