For watching movie, 24p is better. This due to movie is recording using 24 frame per second. When convert from 24 to 60p, it need to insert frame and this process known as "three-two pull down", here is the link that explain in detail: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-two_pull_down. This means using 24p playback movie is "smoother" than 60p. When engineering resource time allows, we definitely interest to implement 24p.
