using dd to clone image

Hi all,

I'm trying to burn arch to a microsd via 

Code:

dd if=arch-pine64-bspkernel-20160403-1.img of=/dev/sdg1 bs=1M

.

You are burning the image to the first partition, but you must burn it to the device, use sdg not sdg1

argh.. such a rookie mistake!  been a while  Thanks!
