I installed bionic-minimal-rockpro64-0.9.16-1163-armhf.img.xz from https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-build/releases/tag/0.9.16
with the updates:
sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt-get install linux-rockpro64-0.9 -y
sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y
I opened a second ssh session with the command:
tail -f /var/log/syslog
and did some debugging with the command:
mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda
here is the log:
Welcome to Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.4.197-1236-rockchip-ayufan-g30faab37e339 aarch64)

Questions:
with the updates:
sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt-get install linux-rockpro64-0.9 -y
sudo apt-get update -y && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y
I opened a second ssh session with the command:
tail -f /var/log/syslog
and did some debugging with the command:
mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda
here is the log:

Questions:
- I see many driver failures in de dmesg?
- Is this an incompatibility between the WD RED firmware and either the SATA Chipset and/or the mainboard it's self?
- How to be fixed?
