I honestly haven't done anything specific to the install related to arm (I got it from the pine wiki, V. 20160304-1 based on Longsleep's work), and was under the impression that it was already done? If not, I'm assuming this would be done in some manner equivalent to apt's sources.list?
What repository are you using? Is it specific to ARM, or have you configured pacman to install ARM packages?

If I remember right, Firefox has had issues with Arm processors, i.e. Rasp Pi and others, and is not recommended.Ok, could very well be. I do know that it is more stable than this on my pie (I can run several tabs in it without it crashing), but raspbian has also been around longer than this semi-custom build of arch.
On a side note, I also installed chromium with pacman and it gave me some error (did launch and not close itself, but wouldn't actually allow me to navigate with it)... so you may be right about needing to change some of pacman's settings (I'll look into it this weekend when I have some more free time).
*edit:
I just noticed that someone created another thread about the chromium issue, sounds like the same that I have: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=558
