ok I figured out how to get a module to load at boot
list it in etc/modules-load.d/modules
then lsmod shows it is loaded.
sadly this does not eliminate the error. I am still unable to bring the wifi interface up
pine64@pine64:~$ sudo ip link set up wlx7cdd90989bff
RTNETLINK answers: No such file or directory
The adaptor is supported and like I said no problems when bringing it up and using it in armbian and dietpi distros so this is NOT a hardware issue rather something is missing from the ayufan image/kernal
anybody got a working wifi adapter with ayufan image?
