hi Roger, this may, or may not, work for you. The reason being (and I'm being deliberately over-simplifying) the PI bus on the PineA64 is not really comletely compatible with the actual PI gpio bus.
Some of the pins may not be used at all GPIO04, pin(7), and some of the pins do not have the internal pull-up resistors necessary for them to work properly (for i2c, for instance). Consequently , some hats designed to plug into the PI 40 pin bus will not work directly when plugged into the PineA64 PI bus.
We have seen some folks make mods (like adding external pull-up resistors) to make some hats work; but it is not guaranteed, and certainly each hat has to be taken on a case by case basis, depending on what it needs from the bus , and how its wired.
