I MADE Android apps work. If you can't manage that it's not my problem, any more than it's my problem to address your failures in reading comprehension.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to insult you, and I understand you wrote it in great frustration. And I'm glad you got it working satisfactorily. But saying that a mad TV clown made it; I remember Mad TV. I don't get the reference.
As politely as I know how, I'm going to ask you (for your own sake) to please have a little patience especially when dealing with a new experience which is still on the cutting edge, (even after 5 years), and especially when making your first posts in a forum. Again I'm not saying this just to rag on you. I'm saying to you help you.
You are deluded if you think this slow-ass device with parts that were ALREADY OLD HAT 5 YEARS AGO is "cutting edge" in any sense other than that offered when you open up a pinebookpro
the phone has now died. I don't think it is worth my while to attempt repairs.
I suspect the phone arrived broken, as others' experiences don't match mine.
out of the box, the following did not work:
GPS
wifi Internet access (could associate with wifi, but got no ipaddr)
lte internet access (made calls, but no internet for apps)
accelerometer
suspend/resume
file transfer over usb
after changing software from kde/manjaro to postmarketos:
working:
wifi & lte internet
not working: all the others
anyway there is more but I'm not inclined to put more time into reporting it here since the level of technical discourse on this forum does not even rise to xda-developers' standards, bye all
