Somewhat late into this discussion. I found this thread helpful to get the correct minicom speed setting for the ROCK64 board


I used a TTL/USB serial adapter [1] to connect the tty console pins to an USB port on my laptop to debug boot issues with a custom OpenWrt (24.10.0) image.
