Yes 3.1 5gb/s could be possible, yes SD slot could be possible but both have the "would raise the PineNote's price unreasonably" comment.
I agree...we just have to start thinking like Framework. Sell me the bare bones...let me decide what to hook up.
I think last time I checked on my phone...the Handy Reading RSS reader folder is 89GB...I've starred 60k+ articles (have read and want to keep for some crazy dream)...Sure out of 89GB most would be cache...but that's the flow of information I've subscribed to.
Being stuck to a 128GB EMMC is tough. Blew through one tablet years ago before we got smarter using it. Media should be replaceable...it all dies.
Still loving this system. I should study the schematics to see if I can still add the stuff(USB 3.1, SD card) if I pay for it.
If it is possible, the PineNote hardware guys should contribute the "how to".
