You did probably everything right. The Wifi sometimes doesn't work because of low battery level. DPI in terminal was fixed after 0.7 release. Cellular data doesn't work for me either. I have finally bought new sim card to debug it on my own. The landscape mode is really broken. I have notice some glitches with gestures, but I considered it to be an issue of my braveheart.
The Cellular data may be affected by fact that Nemo is using ofono. Others are using ModemManager which should more stable for pinephone.
