I originally picked this one up for the pi, have verified it works with the Pine. Probably not the best option in a space limited situation, but as a basic lcd screen, its not too bad.
Hi DonFL
Was touch available on that screen? Graphics and usability good with the pine for that LCD?
How hard was it to get going in terms of drivers and setup?
Thanks
There is a touch add-on available. I messed with it for just a little bit on the Pi, it worked, but never pursued it. Got some help from a friend on the touch-screen setup, would not consider it "easy". I honestly can't really remember why I picked it (screen and touch kit) up in the first place, its been sitting on the shelf for over a year.
However, for just the screen alone, its plug and play. Power the interface board, make the hdmi connection, and you're good to go.
Graphics are clear, but its a small screen; that said, all I did was plug it in and power it up and make sure it was functional with the Pine, did not try to tweak the graphics/video settings in any way.
