Is Qi wireless charging still an option at this point?

Would it be possible to add Qi charging to the production model? It is an open standard, so it will fit nicely with the open source nature of the project.

I found a Qi coil on DealExtreme that is 4cm X 2.8cm. If it was just a bit more square it would probably fit

Still an option. The 4cm x 2.8cm oil is for 1A rate which is same one as PINE64 currently explore. This progress stake some time due to need to understanding the heat concern from coil when locate close to Lithium Battery.
