I just ordered (today) a 2gb board from the official site.
I later read that there is still trouble with 2gb boards, all the linux distros that work
with the 1gb boards have sound issues with the 2gb boards.
I don't think 2gb boards should still be on sale then until this gets resolved!
Is there a way to cancel my order?

Those issues mainly have been solved and e.g. my 2GB board works fine (just 100mbits, but usable). So this is no hardware problem, but mainly software isues and will be fixed hopefully soon. Dont see a real reason not to buy a 2GB board.....

Ubuntu works ok on my 2gb board, don't panic!

So are you both saying I can run debian or ubuntu and will have sound working? If so then I am wrong and there would be no reason not to keep selling them.
However I have just had this reply from Michael Larson, suggesting that audio through HDMI still doesn't work. As I want to connect it to my monitor using HDMI.
" if you download the new image I put up 2 days ago audio should work with aux cable but I have not yet fixed HDMI audio. 2gb boards seem to run this image just fine a few minor problems that will be fixed in time."
