hi, i recently bought a rock64 4gb board. i tried lakka 2.1.1, but it shows strange graphical glitches like "interferences" in menu and games and generally very low framerates (in this video frames are acceptable if not very good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5BNIRCjJoM). so i tried another power supply and another hdmi cable, but nothing changed. then i tried ayufan's arm64 bionic-lxde build + retroarch from libretro ppa. it's better than lakka, but problems persist: no in-game graphic glitches, but framerates are lower than video reviews. only the retroarch menu shows minor graphical glitches, like not working vsync and tearing. in general, video performances are not like in video reviews.
ps: i also tried different power supplies and differnt screens.
cheers,
Gioele

I didnt try it yet personally but there is a lot of people talking good things about it, it also includes some minor OC, no idea if it actually need it...
Runs great for me...
What is the resolution of your monitors ? do keep in mind that if you use a 4K TV or 1440p monitor (as an example) that will be the resolution that Lakka will use for RA cores. This obviously has a significant performance impact. You can always add a line to extlinux forcing a 'sane' resolution e.g. video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60

@ Trash_Can_Man: I tried recalbox. Less glitches, but far from perfect. And not because of the software (I know it's a beta).
@ Luke: I tried the board with my 24" 1080p monitor at 60hz and with my 4k TV at 1080p 60hz.
I think the problem is in the hardware, not in the software.

I've got a few boards on hand so I'll retest over the weekend and let you know if I spot something odd.

Ran the build on 1/2/4GB boards and didn't run into any issues.
[edit] check if there is anything in dmesg. If you dont have a heatsink mounted on your board then please mount one.
