Always! Now, nobody else mention the rockpro64 for a day or two...  Big Grin Tongue  ... I'm not happy with DHL either!  Angry

Bullet64 ... indeed.

pfeerick, I see the DHL's insanity is not exclusive to Europe.

For those asking about state of Linux, I suggest you read IRC logs (channel #Rock64) for more up-to-date news, since at this early stage changes happen every couple of hours.

And also keep an eye on the github releases page, as the 0.7.x series is currently focusing on the rock64 pro. ayufan is busy getting the basics up and running, and as there seems to be a new build each day, with a changelog to give you an idea as to what is new or fixed. https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-build/releases

Hi All
Just received my Rock64 pro on Friday night.
Managed to get Android on and running OK.
But really want Linux. Just tried Ayufan images but not getting very far.
When the Rock64pro boots it goes so far the a message appears saying rebooting in 10 seconds. The machine then dies.
Any suggestions. Can you go through the basic steps required to load Linux. Am I missing some thing or is it just one of the images e.g I have tried
bionic-minimal-rockpro64-0.6.43-238-arm64.img and
bionic-lxde-rockpro64-0.7.4-234-arm64.img and
stretch-openmediavault-rockpro64-0.7.4-234-armhf.img
They all do the same thing.
Thanks

For Linux it is VERY early days (thats why they are labeled per-release). ayufan is currently working on getting a stable  build - give it some time.
Also, releases for Rock64 and RockPro64 are now merged (so look carefully at suffixes when downloading images) into 0.6.XX.
I have retitled the thread to reflect this.

For me bionic-minimal-rockpro64-0.6.43-238-arm64.img works stable. 234 was unstable!
