Ah... that makes sense now... so the sockets are all wired the same, and because you don't know which pine will be the A and the other the B, the cable does the crossover...
Yeah, same here... I've got a few hundred meters of new cables and old cables ripped out of office renovations... so it wouldn't bother me either as far as no longer ethernet ready, but thought it would be good to elaborate further why the crossover in the cable
