Hi everybody!
Can I ask you something
Is the brave heart fully functional?
Does the pine64 installer utility provide the operating system for the brave heart version including Android vanilla images?
Thanks !

The Braveheart Edition of the PinePhone is no longer sold new, so if you are talking about a used one from somewhere, make sure it still has the original functionality, because used phones can come in various states of brokenness. If you buy a new PinePhone now, it will be a Beta Edition. See https://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/PinePh..._revisions.

The Braveheart Edition is mostly fully functional, but has some hardware defects that were fixed in later revisions (such as the Beta Edition that is sold now), see: https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone_v...Braveheart. The worst one is probably the broken USB OTG support (support for plugging USB peripherals into the phone, which acts as the USB host), which can be fixed by soldering if you know what you are doing. You will not have those defects if you get a PinePhone from the current Beta Edition.

There is no "pine64 installer utility". Operating systems are usually shipped as .img files that can be copied directly to a microSD card or to the phone's internal eMMC (using the JumpDrive image on the microSD card). All the available operating systems (including JumpDrive) should support all the hardware revisions.

There are no Android vanilla images. The PinePhone normally ships with a GNU/Linux distribution preinstalled, depending on the edition. The Braveheart Edition shipped with an unusable factory test image only, and you had to pick your own operating system. That factory test image is indeed Android/AOSP based, but it is only there to test the hardware's functionality and entirely useless in practice. If you really want to try out Android on the PinePhone, see GloDroid, but you will be disappointed. The PinePhone is one of the extremely few phones out there that are not designed for Android.
