Is the NFC case dream still alive?

Hey! I saw that back on October 2020 it was announced a back cover for the PinePhone that would have NFC.

I didn't find anything about it since (granted it's hard to search in the forums for just "NFC") and there are no NFC back cases in the pine store.

Are there still plans to make it?

This is unlikely to happen in my personal opinion. The wireless charging back cover was pulled due to safety issues and the fingerprint back cover never gained traction. The keyboard is riddled with similar issues. In my opinion, the whole approach of add-on covers failed.
