Once we get 1000 people to switch over from Asendia to DHL shipment will commence. I'll obviously update you on that in due time. I don't think this is what they mean. It is more like if 1000 people change their shipping before June 22, they will send the phones immediately, if not they will wail till June 22. RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - devrtz - 06-09-2020 People are so very chill, it's unbelievable :> FYI: I had ordered BH edition on the first day (~Nov 15) and had only got my phone sometime mid-end february (it could've been march aswell). I understand that people are antsy for it, but dear god this thread is unbearable :O The world is not going to end if you have to wait a few more days/weeks. So on this note: Thank you Luke and the whole pine team for making a great product and trying to make the best out of a shitty situation. I'm patiently awaiting the CE edition I orderered aswell RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - dieharddan - 06-09-2020 (06-09-2020, 10:38 AM)devrtz Wrote: People are so very chill, it's unbelievable :> What I find unbearable is having to search internet forums for clear as mud information to find out whats going on with a shipment, and then having to babysit and jump through hoops to get the shipment on course. Worst case, in any scenario, phones will ship out from Asendia, whenever that happens. Doesn't mean the money is gone/forfeit or that you'll never get a phone. RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - Engineer - 06-09-2020 They are trying their best people, we are very demanding customers. For example I first cancelled my order and then told them not to cancel it, while purchasing the upgrade to the DHL shipping for 10$. Lets give them some time to sort things out. We will all get our pinephone sometime. The longer it takes, the more refined your pinephone will be! If you are worried about loosing your money, I have good news for you: you are covered by the PayPal buyers protection system for a year from purchase date. Wait until December and if nothing happened by then and no sales help is available, just get your money back via PayPal. Cheers! RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - Luke - 06-09-2020 I'd like to echo what @devrtz wrote a few posts above -- thank you all. You're all being really patient and everyone is being polite towards both us and the shipping company. I am happy that we've fostered such a positive community. The tracking info only says this: Monday, June 01, 2020 at 13:36 Origin Service Area: HONG KONG - TUEN MUN - HONG KONG Destination Service Area: ZURICH - ZURICH - SWITZERLAND Monday, June 01, 2020 Location Time Piece 1 Shipment information received HONG KONG - HONG KONG 13:36 And no more updates since then. RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - patrickjquinn - 06-09-2020 I'd say we give the team a week or 2 to come back to us with an update and let them figure this nightmare (not of their making, people need to remember that) out.
