discover packages error
#1
Since I got my pinephone early last year, any attempt at installing packages from discover has resulted in an error message popup saying "<pkgname>;<version>;aarch64,extrra: could not find or read package" when browsing to the application profile page.

All packages are also listed as 0b.

Sometimes images don't load.

Is there something I need to do, or should I be using a different OS?

I am currently using Pinephone "convergence edition" with manjaro beta 15.

Thanks.

Would recommend to update and install packages via command line, using pacman.

Generally there are more stable distributions, which won't have such issues and you will probably enjoy more.

I would not mind a recommendation for a more stable distro. Especially one that supports the plasma desktop environment, which I've already started working with to create app. Or maybe there is a thread somewhere here for that already? thanks.

If you want a working graphical package manager, install pamac-gtk and pamac-mobile-integration. It will also work under Plasma Mobile.

Discover uses PackageKit, which basically does not work on Arch-based distributions (since the switch to Pacman 6 a couple years ago).
