Yes, I had the same issue with the Manjaro Alpha 2 image. My gut feeling is that it might be related to change of LCD panel right before Early Adopters edition was shipped out. Something like different LCDs require different drivers, and old images ship with old driver, thus not working with new tablet edition.

But that's only my speculation.
