Would the OS just need to be re-flashed? My only concern is that I don't see how that might fix this partition issue.
Don't worry about the partitions. The new flash will fix it.

If you did break the installation here is a pretty good detailed video on how to re flash the Pinephone and start fresh.

It would be pretty hard to brick a Pinephone permanently. They're almost idiot proof. You let the screen go to sleep during the update. Don't let that happen. Read the blog here about that.

You shouldn't use the latest image. They are broken. Use the installer image if you want an encrypted drive and update it as per the blog instructions I linked in the first post. This is the factory image that comes on the Mobian CE Edition. The encrypted installer image. Bottom one.gz

If encryption isn't important to you and you want less updates to download. the latest image not broken is this one. Still run the updates in the blog. Choose the Feb-10th .gz

If you want to tweak or learn more about Mobian this is an excellent source.

Keep Mobian updated following the instructions in that blog probably every couple days because updates are rolling out quickly. It's getting very reliable.

If I helped you please rate +1. It helps make up for the lousy pay I get working here. Big Grin
Just took delivery today, got the "Installation Failed" message with text: "Configuration Error No partitions are defined for mount to use.", and I'm here looking for answers. I pushed the "reset" button, followed the instructions again, and the same message appears. I'll follow the links here and hope.
