CPU and GPU benchmark in Gflops
#1
Hi,

has anyone benchmarked the CPU and GPU of Pine A64+ for Gflops ??

I haven't received my Pine yet, but I played with the same ARM core (Cortex A53) before.

With ATLAS 3.11.38 or later, Pine CPU cores should get about 3Gflops in DGEMM and 6Gflops in SGEMM per core.

In case you don't know:

ATLAS is an improved BLAS (Linear Algebra) that can be found at http://math-atlas.sourceforge.net/

S/DGEMM - Single/Double-precision GEneral Matrix-matrix Multiply.

I'd be willing to run a test, but I have a developer board, running an early version of Android. Not to sure it would give an accurate representation of the board.

even approximate figures will give good idea.  Please post the results.

Just under 3GFLOPS DP Whetstones per core: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=389  Note that running multiple cores full bore may invoke thermal throttling without a heat sink and fan.

Is there a  performance benchmark done pine64 vs. Atom (z8300 or z8500?)
