  • Why did you bought the PineTab?
  • What you'll plan to do with the PineTab?
  • What do you think of it and will you recommend other people to buy it?

I bought it because my pinebook was great, (until I dropped it and it broke, which is totally my fault), and my pinebook pro is a fantastic little machine,  I only wish it had a touchscreen.
I'm tired of forced obselesance (I can't spell that word).  I've got two or three android based tablets now, that are useless because they are no longer supported, which really burns my britches. (Google,I"m looking at you and your nexus line!)

what will I do?  everything.  Tablets have a definite place, for reading ebooks,  casually surfing the web, and the like.

what I think of the actual tablet will have to wait until I get it.  Luckily enough, I was one of the first run orders.

Pine64 guys,  you're really filling a needed niche,  keep up the good work!

* I looked but haven't yet, thinking I'll wait till a more functional OS is available.
* Videos and browsing on the go.
* The video I saw, the OS looked really wonky. I would recommend only to techy people.

Still enjoying the PBP and waiting on second Pinephone.... Don't need the tab yet.

I'm surrounded by old tablets that are no longer updated, security wise.  I'm thinking the PineTab will give me a chance at staying somewhat up to date.

I'm also hoping to road test it.  I gave up hauling my netbook of old on my motorcycle, and my old eyes get tired of trying to work on my android phone screen & BT keyboard combo.  This larger screen should help and it's size should make packing in a saddle bag a bit easier.

I also wanted to help out with these projects take Pine64 & community rolls out.  Since i had a few bucks I ordered the PTab and keyboard.
