LaserCut Pine Enclosure - Macrois - 05-05-2016 Hi, I made a enclosure for the board I made some adjustment to stabilize the structure. So there is the plan (svg and dxf files) : https://github.com/Macrois/Pine64Enclosure License: CC-by-sa 4.0 Tools: Laser cutting machine (80w, cut with 80% power and 1000mm/min speed) MDF 3 millimeter thickness (i guess no problem with acrylic) RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - Luke - 05-06-2016 That is just straight up beautiful. Very good job. RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - hypnopooper - 07-28-2016 Great design and the .DXF was very easy on my laser cut machine. I used 3mm black Plexi and glued with plexi solvent. Great results! https://app.box.com/s/xx3xkfkwj0cmyeea73t756cxjiv9f030 https://app.box.com/s/m34l74ykjpgg793c1sl3atv19cmx5cpe https://app.box.com/s/8alph3wyxdgviv7iprx0p9dvvw5a5npk https://app.box.com/s/ogtojnyix0z794f10s1dduveidibgelo RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - Tarjei85 - 08-24-2016 (05-05-2016, 11:10 AM)Macrois Wrote: Hi,First of all I just want to say thank you for sharing your design with us. I downloaded and used the .dxf file as a template. A lot of changes were made. Kind of pleased with how it turned out. This is the first real "creation" on my new (and first) lasercutter. Due to the limits on the attachments I had to make another reply to this topic. Here is a photo of he hinged lid on the casing.... All these pictures was taken before the case had ben "glued" together. RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - MarkHaysHarris777 - 08-24-2016 That case design is positively beautiful ! ... thanks for sharing, and again, very nice work. RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - Ghost - 08-26-2016 @Tarjei85: are those antennae?! How's your WiFi reception? RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - Tarjei85 - 08-26-2016 (08-26-2016, 10:19 AM)Ghost Wrote: @Tarjei85: are those antennae?! You are correct. Made my own two-way-splitter (the t-splitter was to big) and connected them both... The wifi reception is awsome Picked them of an ASUS router I dont use any more RE: LaserCut Pine Enclosure - montero65 - 08-26-2016 Nicely done Tarjei, and I like the look with the antennas, too! How did you do your own splitter? It appears to be hidden below the WiFi module. Was that pretty simple to do? Thanks. (When I had it all soldered i covered it in a shrinking-tube to be sure not to mess up anything with any uncovered connections) Sorry about the crappy illustration. At work right now, and I only had access to MSPaint |
