Noob connecting to internet - splash131 - 08-31-2018
I am just starting with my rockpro64 and I have an lxde ubuntu on an emmc 64G
My unit is the 4gB version. I bought the wif bt mimo module but have had no success setting it up on my home network
Please offer some direction. The wlan is not showing up in ip a, after initial boot.

Please offer some direction. The wlan is not showing up in ip a, after initial boot.
v0.7.8/9 disabled it to work on stability with the pci slot, pretty sure there was someone on this forum that got it working by downgrading to 0.7.7

I tried 0.7.7 (minimal and LXDE) but it is disabled when lshw is executed.

from memory, 0.7.7 has it enabled, but it looks for the firmware in the wrong place...
