Ethernet issue - Matthew - 07-21-2017 Hello, Installed the latest pine64-image-debianmate-310102bsp-2.img, it flashed fine, running on a Pine64 2GB board, using the Wi-Fi / BT module. When Debian starts up, the Eth0 connection says connected, and the negotiation icon on top right stays on and moving, thing is, i don't even have an Ethernet cable plugged in and it says "Connected"? I have to disconnect the connection before it stops. When I plug an Ethernet cable in, it will not initiate DHCP, or if i insert static, there is just no connection. I even inserted the SD into another Pine64 board, same result. Eth0 just won't work, Wi-FI works fine though. Any suggestions? p.s I did run the scripts to update etc... I need GUI... running headless is what i wanted to achieve but, having network difficulties I am forced to use GUI. RE: Ethernet issue - Luke - 07-21-2017 That image may be the latest but its very old. If you need debian specifically then use armbian's build.
