Try. You can install base image, then

Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

Hi, have you tried it?

I am waiting for my Pinebook and would like to try Kubuntu desktop too.

Installing now. Will post my endeavours, whether they're good or not.

Kubuntu wants bigger /boot and crashes dpkg when I try to install it. The Mate desktop running on the pinebook as default is snappy and complete, so I see no reason to install KDE as it will probably be pretty sluggish. The accounts-part of Telepathy breaks during install, and now I can't install packages. The Pinebook is getting android anyways, so I can't be assed to spend more time trying to mess with KDE.

I guess you could do a sneaky dist-upgrade to KUbuntu Desktop with 50 megs more space on /boot, but be prepared for quite a lot of hacking and slamming your face into brick walls. Smile

Do you think is it possible to resize the partitions easy way?

"filetype" resize "amount"
