Can't detect the phone's battery - shanewilliam - 01-19-2026 Hello, I just flashed postmarketOS onto my PinePhone Pro, and everything seems to be functioning well, except the OS can't detect the battery. There's no battery indicator in the top-right corner of the screen, and the settings menu shows 0% under Energy. I installed the PowerSupply app, but all the fields are displaying "N/A." I've checked to ensure the battery is properly seated and that the phone turns on when unplugged. I can't find any information about this issue. Has anyone else experienced this or know what might be causing it? Although annoying, the battery now lasts much longer than ever before (14+ hours). I will take the improved battery life over the battery indicator on the home screen always at 0. My PPP works in every other way. No issues with audio or connectivity. The PPP with PMOS is my daily driver phone, at least for now. I have had the PPP for quite a few years now and it just works for communication (calls and texts), Internet browsing, podcast listening, and Mahjongg. |
