Pinephone Pro wont boot to anything! - Supervisor - 08-14-2025 So i have a pinephone pro here and i tried turning it on after like a year of not using it. The battery was obviously drained so i charged it for 6 hours on maskrom mode to my mac. After trying to turn it on, the led turns red, then yellow, but then stay there. Ive tried flashing oses to the EMMC and a 16gb SD card and also tried reinstalling towboot using the exact instructions provided, ive tried both sp.installer.img and shared disk methods for that. Ive already followed these instructions: https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=18216 Please help! ![]() RE: Pinephone Pro wont boot to anything! - KNERD - 08-14-2025 Since it is now a dead project, it will probably never boot anything RE: Pinephone Pro wont boot to anything! - KC9UDX - 08-15-2025 Yeah, like how the DEC VAX is a dead project. ![]() RE: Pinephone Pro wont boot to anything! - zetabeta - 08-15-2025 (08-14-2025, 06:47 AM)Supervisor Wrote: So i have a pinephone pro here and i tried turning it on after like a year of not using it. Ive already followed these instructions: my guess is that you have tried most catches already. can you go usb mem mode, volume up? that would indicate that tow-boot works. DEC VAX came with a stable operating system which can be ported to another system. Can't say that about PinePhone Pro RE: Pinephone Pro wont boot to anything! - KC9UDX - 08-18-2025 The only thing preventing NetBSD on the Pinephone is a lack of ambition. |
