Mobian OS - stefan_hdb - 08-19-2024 Dear all, I have installed Mobian on the pinetab 2 using an SD-card. The kernel is Linux 6.8.-rockchip. I can connect to Wifi via a USB-dongle. Is it possible to move to another kernel which includes the bes2600 driver? Thanks an kind regards, Stefan RE: Mobian OS - biketool - 04-08-2025 Realistically since the kernel modules are not included for FOSS certification beyond-a-doubt reasons an installer script found here would be enough just a few wgets and echos to get the bin and point the OS at it. If an installer script is put together and updated the Bluetooth and camera drivers and setup should be included too. I would like to be able to use my USB mouse and scan QR codes on my phone, laptop and other. How much work is involved and where is the guide there is this https://wiki.pine64.org/images/4/4d/PineTab2_USB_Guide.pdf which recommends USB adapters https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=18541 which shows a mobian non-free firmware repo to add for wifi(wifi only?) Code: "deb http://repo.mobian.org/ staging main non-free-firmware" Cameras https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=19109 there was much work and maybe success a year ago we don't see this yet Bluetooth https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=19260 an attempt at a fix for a supposedly working BT activation on arch I am still using the arch install and have wifi but wanted BT too and this DID NOT work https://redlib.perennialte.ch/r/PINE64official/comments/1akjlwu/tutorial_wifi_and_bluetooth_on_pinetab_2/ |
