Will it be possible to upgrade the Pinebook Pro if/when a newer model is released? - Rat24 - 09-06-2023 Basically just wondering if it would be possible to replace parts in the Pinebook Pro with parts from a newer model, assuming one will even exist. Specifically the main board. I imagine a new laptop using the Quartz64 board is inevitable. We won't know for sure until Pine starts announcing plans for its followup. Will it work next time? We don't know. BTW: I don't have any insider information, but my bet goes into a future RISC based laptop ("Pinestar Pro" ).
