SFOS 4.1.0.24 aarch64 - defactofactotum - 07-23-2021

The new image is an aarch64 build, so quite a departure and there are many teething problems at the moment.
Flash as usual and then as root zypper ref/ssu ur/zypper dup. Apps now need to be 64bit builds so some on the Jolla store won't install and the Openrepos Storeman app will not install either. There may be some improvement in sim card recognition but it will take some time for this build to get back to parity with the 32bit version.

Hello, I downloaded the following Storeman file from Open repos and it is running now.
harbour-storeman-0.2.7-1.sfos4_.1.aarch64.rpm

Thanks, you're right, I didn't zoom in enough and just took the one nearest the end without looking carefully.  I just installed Sailtrix matrix client from openrepos, so works fine. Have you tried a simcard?

What should be the difference? Here (unlocked SIM) it looks like in previous version - at first start mobile network related items are present in desktop&menus, at the following (re)starts they are missing. Calls and SMS-s seem to work as in 4.0...
Thanks for the new version Smile

RE: SFOS 4.1.0.24 aarch64 - acrux - 07-27-2021

As of today morning installed available updates. The UI is very fast, fluid and smooth although running from the SD card.
Made some tests with telephony:
1. Can not call numbers with country code. Without it calling succeeded. Receiving calls worked.
2. Could not send a SMS. Receiving SMS's worked.
3. Still no UI elements for mobile operator and no corresponding menus in Settings.
Browser displays white pages and also e-mail bodies are not displayed. Webcat sort of works.
Your work with the port is highly appreciated Smile

Edit1: I have not found a regularity, but sometimes the telephony related items are present. Especially after forcing a shutdown after UI crash, when phone does not wake up after entering a powersave mode...

Edit2: It somehow improves in time Big Grin Last system starts have been all OK.
Edit3: Sending SMS seems to work OK now.
