Before I pull on them and maybe break it;
Are you supposed to be able to remove & put back the keycaps of the Pinebook pro?
If so; just pull on them?

no, the keycaps aren't made to be user-replaceable. you may be able to, but you risk breaking them, which will require a new complete keyboard/palm rest assembly to replace.
