And I am definitely enjoying the Pinephone.
The Mobian userland is close enough to Armbian on the Pinebook Pro that I can run plenty of bash scripts from the PBP on the phone without modifications.
My Jupyter notebooks from the Pinebook just run on the Pinephone. Bliss.

How is your NFC project going?
I have not had time to even try to integrate NFC hardware but it is just a software issue, I2C makes the hardware pretty plug&play, currently playing(when I have time) with using the LoRa receiver and piping the raw tuned output to a POCSAG hardware decoder, chip sourcing is making that difficult though.
