Img now updated to sfos 3.4.0.24 - defactofactotum - 10-20-2020
The PP image is now updated to 3.4 so the info below is out of date.

You can update the sfos version on the pinephone by running the following commands:
devel-su
ssu re 3.4.0.24
ssu ur
zypper ref
zypper dup
NB this can take 3hours+ on sdcard, about 40 mins on emmc.
This build feel a bit faster. Patchmanager doesn't work.

what password do you use for devel-su ?
The password the I had set for the nemo user didn't seem to work for me ....

I thought it should be. I checked on the jolla SFO forum ...
Just behaved as if I had the password wrong.
I double checked. Then it I think I broke something, so will check later today.

You need to set a password for devel-su in the developer options. It's not the pw with which you sign in.

Thanks for this, I actually have sound now and a reliable battery indicator. Two huge plusses!
Couple things i noticed broken on this version:
- Opening email from the Mail app causes app crash. Stills works fine for notifications though.
- Trying to log in to Google account on webcat causes browser crash.
- Possibility to turn brightness all the way down (blanking the screen), which does not get reset on reboot. so good luck if you do this!
