Problems to start the PineTab - guenther - 09-13-2020

I sometimes need several attempts to start the PineTab after shutdown. I don't know if it's the "video issue" or something else. Normally it starts after 2s of holding down the power button, but sometimes it needs 10s+ several times. Have you experienced the same behavior?

Edit: Currently Mobian, running internal emmc but had the same experience with UT also...

Yes, sometimes it feels like it got "stuck" in some weird state - not clear if off or just booting, so need to hold power button for long several times. "Tips and tricks" section has a quote by Aperricio from IRC how to do it properly, but I still need to master it Smile

Quote:You have to press power button for 7-8s. It makes a sound and you know it's totally off. 3 seconds after, power button again for 2-3s and it will start to boot.

Ah, good to know that it is not totally uncommon and related to just my device. Thank you for the info!
